Colette Laborde
Dr Colette Laborde is graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure (France) in Mathematics. She currently works at Cabrilog on the design of e-resources in mathematics for primary and middle school students making use of results of research in mathematics education. She supervised 30 PhD dissertations in the field of Maths Education. She is a member of several Editorial Boards and scientific committees of International Journals in Mathematics Education. Her role to the iMuSciCA project is to support pedagogical designers to unleash the full didactical power of Cabri and to get involved in pilot testing and pedagogical assessment.
Jean-Marie Laborde
Dr Jean-Marie Laborde is currently the President and CEO of Cabrilog. Previously was a tenured senior researcher at CNRS. He taught Mathematics and Computer Sciences ; he has been lecturing at numerous universities across the world. Jean Marie Laborde was the Head of the Cabri-geometry Project a collaborative IMAG-Texas-Instruments project. He devoted many efforts for the spread of the software Cabri (and related philosophy), nowadays sold worldwide to more than 150 millions copies, inclutding in handheld devices by Texas Instruments. His role to iMuSciCA project deals with Research and Development activities.
Pierre Laborde
At Cabrilog, Pierre Laborde is in charge of offer definition plus partnerships development. He spends a large part of his time interacting with users and teachers in order to improve their experience using Cabri software. He was product manager for Texas Instruments TI Nspire's Graph & Geometry. Before joining the team, he used to work as a computer scientist for digital water fountains and music technology in Spain, France and Canada. His role to iMuSciCA project deals with several aspects of the project, for example like contributing to dissemination and building the exploitation plan.
Laurent Varin
Laurent Varin is a senior Software Engineer. He was involved in several Cabrilog projects, and was part of New Cabri project from the start. He also holds a PhD in Cognitive Sciences, with works related to speech recognition, signal processing and statistical analysis. His role to the project is related to the technical aspects of using Cabri in within iMuSciCA.
Celine Palermo
Céline Palermo holds a Research Master’s degree in Information & Communication from the Communication and Medias Institute, at Grenoble. Her research Master’s essay is about the influence of numerical dispersion on e-learning, and focus on MOOCs. For the iMuSciCA project, she contributes to dissemination and communication activities.
